MGEE DINNER @ JITRA

This will be my first post on Maybank and also the very first annual dinner I've attended! Below is my outfit of the day as the theme was Gangnam Style and I had not very much time to look for clothes, plus I'm not gonna wear Gangnam style clothes out anywhere :D



So, Christine and I were in Brandon's car, fetched Mr Yap then Ms Jill so together we had breakfast, after that off we go to Jitra. I fell asleep in the car :3

We stopped at somewhere for late lunch. After that we just head back to Penang. Sleep time! But I did not sleep .__.

People hate disappointments, so do I.
How about the disappointment which made the trusts in you, gone?
 Sometimes, we just get disappointed in our loved ones
 because we expect so much from them.
Not because we're demanding but because
we know we would do those exact same
things for them; make time.

I've always understood that you were always trying

 to make time to accompany or to see me, but your efforts have made 

me feel that you only need me whenever you need me. 

I'm sorry to have felt like this, I did not choose to have this feeling.

I've heard this life is overrated.

But, I hope that it gets better as we go.

Why do I always want the things that destroy me in the end?

I keep thinking I'm over you but then if I go somewhere around a lot of people, I'm always looking for you.

Unwanted memories

I don't put my faith or trust in anyone anymore. 

After a while you just get tired of being disappointed.

I don't hate you, I'm just disappointed you turned into everything you said you'd never be.

A might pain to love it is,

but of all the pains,

Stronger

Yes, broken hearts take time to mend and relationships that end on a bad note can hurt for a good while.

After all you put me through 

you'd think I'd despise you. 

But in the end I want to thank you 

because you made me that much stronger.

Lost World of Tambun

Good evening. Know what I'm blogging today? DUH THE TITLE SAYS IT ALL. LOL. My working life has been treating me kinda good when it comes to holiday, I'm working alternately this week as Deepavali fell on last Tuesday and today which is Awal Muharam. 

Christine (my colleague and also my good/best friend lol) called me on Monday night asking me whether am I interested to join her and her friends for a trip to LWOT. I've never been there so I said why not? Then, it was all on!

Her fiancée Simon Lim together with her came all the way from Seberang to Penang to fetch me then went back to Seberang again to meet with others.

5.30AM: Woken up by Christine's call to know that I got up late =.= Supposed to be awake by 5AM but nevermind :D since they were late as well hehehehehe I packed my stuffs after I got up (genius eh? :p)

7.00AM: After everyone has reached and done with their early breakfast, the journey starts.

Simon and Beh drove super fast with 140km/h (I stalked his car metre LOL) In between the journey we did make a stop as Christine and the others (me too actually :/) wanted to go to the washroom so desperately. There were other two cars as well, so altogether we had four cars.

9.00AM: Reached Ipoh and the first place we made a stop is this dimsum restaurant.

10.00AM: Done with dimsum then we make our move to Tambun.

Time to get into the water, but wait. We just loved to take pictures :3

Fun time is here! Splashing water is what I do best in swimming pools lol but in this case, there are ones who are better than me so I just had to avoid.

         

Taking a little break away from the scorching hot sun, had my sunblock on but it wouldn't help much! 

(My sunburnt on both my shoulders hurt as much as how I feel my skin is being ripped off!)

Okay, so, we actually listened to what the strangers (who helped us with the heavy tube) have said the last slide is among the simplest one! We decided to take that one and we ended up screaming from the moment we started until we reached the bottom.

After two slides, we all went back to the pool. Played around then we went to another side which looks kinda like a river.

I went to my locker to have some drink then to the toilet, but had no chance because it was so cramp! Went out to find the rest then met Simon... he took me here that was when I saw Christine and a few of them enjoying this. LOL. So, I joined them. This ain't fun cus there were only a few seats left in the front.

It was truly an amazing and memorable 1-day trip to Lost World of Tambun in Ipoh. Get to know a lot of new friends, guys and girls, they were very friendly to me and very playful, which is a good thing because we are young and we should live our lives :p Okay, not just that. It is a good thing because you can't be serious all the time in this kind of place LOL. Be sure to keep in touch and see y'all again!
